The Management of BIAS Technology Support Ltd is committed to attaining leadership in its business and associated activities. In pursuing this aim, the organization recognizes it must work in tune with society’s aspirations for conserving and improving its quality of life.

The organization regards compliance with all relevant environmental legislation as a priority for management and employees at all levels and will endeavor to ensure compliance within the framework of the environmental management system including best practice and corporate guidance and will:-

Maintain an awareness of the potential environmental effects of operations, carry out audits, and monitor and review results with the aim of continual improvement in environmental performance standards commensurate with industry sector best practice.

Comply with the requirements of relevant environmental legislation, take all reasonable precautions in the operation of plant and equipment to eliminate or minimize adverse effects, and minimize waste by re-use and or recycling wherever practicable.

Set and review, at suitable intervals, environmental objectives and prevent or minimize pollution by operating within the constraints of the relevant Environmental Agency authorization.

Keep employees at all levels aware of the importance of environmental issues, provide them with appropriate training and ensure they carry out their work in accordance with the organization’s environmental policy and legal requirements.

Take into account environmental criteria in the selection and installation of new equipment and processes.
Seek to prevent unplanned occurrences by operating a system of risk assessments based on established failure rates and incident reports, aimed at identifying causes and implementing corrective actions.

Process only those materials which have been previously assessed as suitable on Environmental, Health, and Safety grounds.

Maintain an Environmental Management System that through annual review achieves on-going certification to the BS EN ISO14001 : 2004 standard.
